Moving on with our take on the McKinsey & Company study. While the study examines the current state of Black workers in the private sector economy, they also strongly suggest that companies take a leadership position in terms of DEI. Specifically, they lay out three next step priorities that all companies should pursue to be successful in their DEI approach:

1. “Share best practices on effective programs”
2. “Pursue collaborative efforts to galvanize collective action”
3. “Commit to continued investment and research”

These three priorities map exactly to the core of how ideascape helps companies design, execute and measure their DEI strategy. ideascape serves as both an extension of a member organization’s team and a thought partner for its leaders. FutureSelf Network not only helps companies understand and execute on their options today, but to recognize the trajectory of DEI and position themselves effectively for the future. It is easy for organizations to join the network, gaining access to strategic planning and decision support services by paying a nominal, all-inclusive fee on an annual subscription basis. Jonathan Dyke can tell you more.
